Process to list duty judge matters and other urgent applications

To list matters urgently a copy of the application and affidavit in support should be sent at first instance to the following email addresses: and to

The email should include the matter name and number (if known) and contact details for the party seeking the listing. The reasons for urgency must be included in the affidavit in support of the application.

The court will advise the date and time of the listing and require that the parties file the documents in hardcopy with the court registry and pay the applicable filing fees.

Any party wishing to file documents by email will require the leave of the Registrar to do so.

Parties must not approach judges chambers directly to obtain an urgent listing.
